Krauze “Aus aller Welt Stammende” at rbb Kultur KUNST im BAU
Layer by layer, floor by floor, Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop will fill the Haus des Rundfunks with music at rbb Kultur KUNST im BAU on September 12, 2021. For these performances, Kaleidoskop is dedicating itself to an unusual and rarely performed work of the 20th century: the composition “Aus aller Welt Stammende” by the Polish composer Zygmunt Krauze for 10 string players.  With a particularly spatial staging of Krauze’s piece, we will make all floors of the staircase of the Haus des Rundfunks resound. Together with choreographer Juan Corres Benito, Kaleidoskop is developing a musical performance that plays with visibility and invisibility. In this program, Kaleidoskop will relate short solo pieces from different eras and styles as interventions to Krauze’s ensemble piece “Aus aller Welt Stammende”.

Performances at rbb Kultur KUNST im BAU
Sunday 12 September 2021, showings at 14:00 & 16:00, Haus des Rundfunks. More information at: www.rbbKultur.de/kunstimbau

Kaleidoskop at Festival der Kooperationen with Alexander Kluge
Over the course of several months, eight composers (including six composition students), a director and musicians from Solistenensemble Kaleidoskop came together to discuss and test forms of cooperation. Starting from very different horizons of experience and artistic interests, an attempt was made to find a common resonance space that gives individual voices equal freedom as it allows for a coherence of the whole. An important reference was the work of Alexander Kluge – especially the aspects of his associative ‘Wunderkammer’ and dialogical cooperation principle.

Concert as part of  Festival der Kooperationen with Alexander Kluge
Friday 24 September 20:00 & Saturday 25. September 11:00, UdK Berlin, Probensaal, Bundesallee 1-12. For more information visit:  www.udk-berlin.de/kalender
