A hotel, Beethoven’s Pastorale and the weather in Ludwigsburg: In his Pixelsinfonie (Pixel symphony), the composer and stage director Michael Rauter brings out new viewing and hearing perceptions of the relationship between man and nature. In his Musiktheater für 30 Hotelzimmer (Musical theatre for 30 hotel rooms) he has a soloist ensemble perform his composition with the windows open. Thus, not only the building and its rooms become the scene of the performance, but the open windows open it up to the city. In the hotel forecourt, the individual orchestral parts merge into a harmonious musical work.
